In a surprising twist for pasta lovers and J-pop fans alike, the popular spaghetti chain Pancho has unveiled a “super rare” collaboration menu that is turning heads with its bold aesthetic. The limited-time offering, known as the “Ebi Mayo Mayo Tarako Pasta,” is the result of a unique triple collaboration between Pancho, the idol group SAY-LA, and the renowned mentaiko giant Kanefuku.
The dish was created to celebrate SAY-LA’s novel single, “Miren Tara Tara Tarako Pasta,” with the idol group’s members contributing their own ideas to the development of the menu. This marks the third collaboration between the group and the spaghetti specialist, highlighting a growing trend of merging pop culture with culinary experiences.
A Visual Spectacle in “Shocking Pink”
For those expecting a traditional cod roe pasta, the “Ebi Mayo Mayo Tarako Pasta” delivers a vivid surprise. The dish features a striking pink tarako cream base, topped with broccoli and shrimp tossed in a special pink mayonnaise. To complete the eye-catching look, the pasta is finished with seared tarako, shiso leaves, green onions, and a touch of edible glitter, resulting in a “shocking pink” visual that is as much about the performance as it is about the flavor.

The combination aims to balance the rich flavor of the seared tarako with the texture of plump shrimp, offering a multi-sensory experience that aligns with the high energy of the idol industry.
Limited Availability and Pricing
Due to the specialty nature of the collaboration, the dish is available only at 10 select Pancho locations from April 3 to April 30, 2026. The “Ebi Mayo Mayo Tarako Pasta” (regular size) is priced at 1,480 yen (including tax).
