In an emotional appeal, Sri Wulansih, the mother of the late Indonesian star Julia Perez, has reached out to entertainer Raffi Ahmad for assistance in selling one of her daughter’s remaining properties. The request, which surfaced on April 15, 2026, highlights the enduring bonds between the late actress and her close circle of friends.

During a tearful interview, Sri Wulansih explained her decision to approach Raffi Ahmad specifically. When questioned by Haikal, a member of Raffi’s team, about why she chose him over other friends of the deceased, she recalled a poignant final wish. “Why did mama mention Raffi Ahmad? All of the deceased’s friends are kind, but what mama always remembers is Jupe’s message in the hospital. ‘If Mama needs anything, just contact Aa Raffi Ahmad,'” Sri Wulansih shared, as seen in a post by Raffi Ahmad and Nagita Slavina on April 15, 2026.

The financial urgency stems from the high cost of maintaining the late star’s assets. Sri Wulansih revealed that she is looking to sell one of two apartment units left behind by Julia Perez, which have remained vacant for eight years. “Mama wants to sell the apartment. Since she passed away, it’s been 8 years and hasn’t been occupied. It can’t be done anything with, Mama has no income. Every 3 months, the IPL (Environmental Management Fee) for two units is Rp 6 million,” she explained. She noted that selling one unit would allow her to use the funds to renovate a shelter home, while she intends to rent out the other.

This request follows a period of unexpected support from Raffi Ahmad. Sri Wulansih expressed her gratitude, recalling how Raffi reached out to her on August 17 to provide financial help. “Raffi suddenly [said], ‘Mama, are you healthy? Mama, Raffi wants to give some pocket money for Mama.’ Alhamdulillah, Raffi still remembers mama,” she said.

The funds provided by Raffi were used for a meaningful cause, as Sri Wulansih stated, “Raffi seems to know mama’s feelings. Mama needed to fix the late [Jupe’s] musala in Serang. Alhamdulillah, Raffi gave money to mama, and mama used that money to fix the musala.”

The situation underscores the complex reality of managing a celebrity’s estate and the importance of industry friendships in providing a safety net for grieving families.
