The death toll in Lebanon has risen to 2,167 since March 2, following a series of intensified Israeli military operations. Recent reports indicate that 43 additional people were killed in the latest wave of violence, according to Anadolu Ajansı.

The escalation comes as Israel continues to launch airstrikes across Lebanon, specifically targeting Hezbollah. In Southern Lebanon, 24 separate raids resulted in the deaths of 13 people, as reported by Bawabat Al-Shorouk. Military activity has also expanded to include the targeting of vehicles in the south, according to Al Arabiya.

Beyond the south, the conflict has reached the capital. At least two strikes were reported in Beirut, including a hit on a Hezbollah-owned radio station, according to The Times of Israel. These developments underscore a volatile security environment as clashes continue and anticipation grows ahead of potential negotiations between Lebanon and Israel, as noted by Al Ain News.

The persistence of these airstrikes is seen by some as a direct challenge to ceasefire agreements, with Youm7 reporting that the ongoing strikes defy ceasefire mandates.
