Annapurna Interactive has confirmed that Sayonara Wild Hearts and Lorelei and the Laser Eyes are now available as free upgrades on Nintendo Switch 2 for existing owners of the original Switch versions. The announcement, made on April 24, 2026, marks the first wave of five indie titles being brought to Nintendo’s latest console, with both games receiving enhanced performance features including 4K output and 120Hz support on compatible displays.

For players purchasing the games anew on Switch 2, Sayonara Wild Hearts is priced at $13, whereas Lorelei and the Laser Eyes is available for $25. The Switch 2 version of Sayonara Wild Hearts also introduces a modern Remix Arcade mode, which was not present in the original Switch release. This mode emphasizes score-chasing by removing loading screens and accelerating gameplay, offering a more intense, replayable experience suited to handheld sessions.

Additional titles in Annapurna’s Switch 2 lineup include Stray, set to launch on May 28, 2026, with improved 4K visuals, a frame rate boost, and mouse controls — though it remains unconfirmed whether current Switch owners will receive a free upgrade. To a T, a puzzle-adventure from Katamari creator Keita Takahashi, will follow as a digital-only release on June 11, 2026, priced at $20. This marks the game’s debut on Nintendo platforms after previously launching on other systems without a Switch release.

The updates underscore a growing trend of indie developers leveraging newer hardware to deliver enhanced versions of existing titles, particularly as Nintendo expands its support for high-performance indie experiences on Switch 2. By offering free upgrades and platform-exclusive features, Annapurna aims to strengthen engagement with its catalog while attracting new players to the ecosystem.
