‘Disinherited’ Adds Karl Glusman, Alan Ruck, and More to FX Drama Pilot

A strong ensemble cast has joined Victoria Pedretti and Kiera Allen for FX’s upcoming drama pilot, Disinherited, from the creative team behind Better Call Saul.

Karl Glusman (Eenie Meenie), Alan Ruck (Succession), Katja Herbers (Evil), Eddie Marsan (The Bombing of Pan Am), and Jonathan Higginbotham (The Walking Dead: Dead City) have all been cast in the series, which centers on two sisters unexpectedly thrust into a world of wealth and hidden family secrets. Glusman will portray a paralegal assisting the sisters with their inheritance, while Ruck will play the powerful attorney managing the case. Herbers is cast as a mother connected to an influential family.

Disinherited follows Sarah (Allen) and Marian (Pedretti) as an unexpected inheritance dramatically alters their lives. The pilot is executive produced by Peter Gould, alongside Rian Johnson, Ram Bergman, and Nena Rodrigue of T-Street. This project marks another high-profile collaboration for Johnson and Bergman, known for their work on films like Knives Out and Poker Face.

The addition of these actors signals FX’s commitment to building a compelling narrative around the pilot, which could potentially lead to a full series order. Production is underway, and further details regarding a potential release date have not yet been announced.

FX Productions is the studio behind the project, and officials have stated they are pleased with the cast assembled for this intriguing new drama.
