When asked by host Hubert Urbański if the knowledge that he was just three questions away from a million was paralyzing, he admitted, “A little.” He still had one of two lifelines available. His mother, Jolanta, and friend, Małgorzata, were cheering him on from the audience.

I couldn’t stop,” she shared. And now? “It’s like I’ve started a new life. I’ve slowed down – breakfast and coffee in my robe, sometimes on the terrace. It’s completely different. I’m slowly enjoying each day,” she added, also mentioning her involvement in her grandchildren’s lives. Was she seeking new thrills by appearing on the game show?

A programmer from Małopolska, and a former student of the AGH University of Science and Technology, entered the studio with energy. He made a career change at one point in his life. “Programming provides a fairly good income with stable work, while the drilling industry didn’t offer those things,” he explained. His fiancée, Alicja, who enjoys dancing Cuban salsa with him, was in the audience. Game shows continue to be a popular form of entertainment, drawing large audiences and sparking national conversations.
