The International Cricket Council on Wednesday unveiled the schedule for the 2026 ICC U19 Men’s Cricket world Cup, a tournament designed to showcase rising stars in the sport. the competition, co-hosted by Zimbabwe and Namibia from January 15 to February 6, will feature 16 teams vying for the title, including a historic debut for Tanzania. The event promises a compelling mix of established youth cricket programs and emerging nations as they compete across four groups, culminating in a final showdown early next year.

New Delhi – The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the schedule for the 2026 Under-19 Cricket World Cup, set to take place from January 15 to February 6. Zimbabwe and Namibia will jointly host the prestigious youth tournament.

The tournament will kick off with a highly anticipated clash between India and the United States. Zimbabwe will also face Scotland on the opening day. Defending champions Australia will begin their title defense on January 16 against Ireland. A notable aspect of this World Cup is the debut of Tanzania, marking their first appearance in an ICC tournament.

The 16 participating teams have been divided into four groups. Group A will feature India, Bangladesh, the USA, and New Zealand. Pakistan and England are drawn into Group B, while Group C includes Australia and Sri Lanka. Group D will see competition between South Africa and the West Indies. Following the group stage, the tournament will progress to the Super Six stage, followed by the semi-finals. The final showdown is scheduled for February 6.
