Adriana Karembeu is opening up about her blossoming romance with singer Marc Lavoine. The model, 54, shared details about the relationship although discussing her novel book, “Je t’aime parce que je t’aime et voilà tout,” during an appearance on France Inter’s morning program on March 5.
Karembeu described the love she’s found as “magnificent,” but refrained from explicitly naming her partner. “In this book I describe this love that happens to me, obviously because it is magnificent. But we don’t require to know and stick the name or first name on this love,” she explained. “What I am living is important and that’s why I describe it. Because it’s a love that soothes, that brings me to where I’ve always dreamed of being, which means being at peace. And that’s the most beautiful thing.”
The revelation comes as Karembeu reflects on her personal journey in her new book, which also delves into past experiences and the search for inner peace. She revealed that she first felt a connection with Lavoine 27 years ago at a charity event. “I said to myself: ‘This guy is for me.’ But I quickly told myself, ‘No, stop.’ But it never left me, actually,” Karembeu recalled. “It was so platonic, I would have never imagined anything, absolutely nothing.” She added that she is “very patient.” Karembeu and Lavoine have been a couple since 2024, but this marks one of the first times Karembeu has publicly discussed the depth of their connection. The couple’s relationship is drawing attention as they both navigate established careers in the French entertainment industry.
