A unique collection event is scheduled for March 14, 2026, at the Jas de Bouffan market, offering a chance to recycle sporting goods and electronics.
In a partnership between Ecologic, the Aix Marseille Provence Metropolis, and SCRELEC, residents will be able to give a second life to unwanted electrical appliances, electronics, and sports equipment. The collection, facilitated by Régie Service 13, will prioritize the reuse of items by organizations within the social and solidarity economy, with remaining items being recycled by Ecologic.
Accepted items include small appliances like coffee makers, irons, and kettles, as well as electronics such as phones, game consoles, laptops, and printers. The drive also welcomes sporting goods – from bicycles and scooters to fitness equipment like weights and mats, and even winter sports gear like skis and climbing gear.
The collection will take place at the Jas de Bouffan market, Place de la Croix Verte.
This initiative provides a convenient and environmentally responsible way to dispose of items, aligning with growing efforts to promote sustainability and reduce waste. The event offers a practical solution for residents looking to declutter while contributing to a circular economy.
