Doha, Qatar – Al Ahli SC enters Week 11 of the Qatar Stars League seeking to build on recent form against a challenging Umm Salal side. Currently seventh in the 12-team league with 16 points–three points behind fourth-place Al Wakrah–a win would significantly boost Al Ahli’s chances of climbing the table during the mid-season push. Assistant coach Bruno Oliveira and midfielder Nasser Al Nasr both emphasized the team’s preparation and focus ahead of Friday’s match at the Ahmad bin Ali Stadium.

Assistant coach Bruno Oliveira emphasized the importance of continuing their strong performance and positive results in the league. Speaking at a pre-match press conference, Oliveira stated that Al Ahli has prepared thoroughly for the challenge posed by Umm Salal. “All the players are looking forward to delivering a good performance,” he said. “They are aware of the difficulty of the opponent and their technical strength. They know Umm Salal is a well-organized team in defense, midfield, and attack, so they will give their all to achieve the desired result.”
Oliveira added that the team has been working with head coach Yunes Ali to improve their attacking play and overall organization, aiming for a more effective performance that will help the club achieve its ambitions.
