Nasser Al-Nassr club shareholder Ghazi Al-Dhiyabi recently addressed the team’s supporters following his acquisition of a Platinum membership with the Saudi club.
In a video circulating on social media, Al-Dhiyabi stated his support for Al-Nassr is driven by his passion for the team, not a desire for recognition from fans or club officials. “I am a fan of Al-Nassr club, and I have followed its matches for years, whether in front of the television or in the stands,” he said.
Al-Dhiyabi continued, suggesting that a lack of public acknowledgement may stem from differing allegiances within the club’s leadership. “God has honored me to turn into one of the supporters of the club, and perhaps the lack of celebration of me is due to differences in inclinations. Perhaps those who are at the forefront of the scene at Al-Nassr club are not Nasr supporters,” he explained.
He emphasized that Al-Nassr needs the unified support of its fans, rather than simply claims of backing. Al-Dhiyabi also hinted at a forthcoming surprise for the club in six months, without revealing specifics. Erem News reported on the initial announcement of his Platinum membership.
“I promise everyone that I will protect the rights of the club if I become the president of Al-Nassr,” Al-Dhiyabi concluded. The Platinum membership, reportedly valued at one million riyals, comes with exclusive benefits, including travel opportunities with the team, as highlighted in a TikTok video from @abiid1404. Instagram posts also detail the news, with fans reacting to the significant investment.
