Czech retailer Alza has unveiled a new line of portable power banks just ahead of the holiday shopping season, offering a range of options from rugged, high-capacity models to sleek, feature-rich designs. The eight new AlzaPower devices boast increased power output – many reaching 100W – capable of quickly charging not only smartphones but also laptops and other demanding devices. With prices ranging from approximately $35 to $105 USD, the new lineup aims to meet a variety of needs and budgets for consumers requiring reliable on-the-go power.
Alza, a major Czech retailer, has expanded its AlzaPower line with eight new portable power banks, just in time for the holiday season. Most of the new models, excluding the two entry-level options, boast a 100W output, making them capable of powering even the most demanding laptops – and offering significantly faster charging speeds for the power banks themselves.
The flagship model, dubbed BigFoot, offers a substantial 50,000 mAh capacity and features four ports, an integrated LED flashlight, and a carrying loop. While its dimensions (148 × 91 × 49 mm) and weight (925 grams) make it less portable, the BigFoot delivers considerable power on the go. It’s available for 2499 Kč, representing a significant investment.
The Adventure model, with a 10,000 mAh capacity and a weight of 247 grams, also includes an LED flashlight. It features two USB-C ports, one of which is an integrated retractable cable. Delivering up to 45W of power, the Adventure is also designed for durability, with a body promising resistance to drops from 1.5 meters and basic protection against dust and splashes (IP44 rating).
Perhaps the most striking additions are the four models in the Vision series. All feature a sleek, metallic design with a large display and three output ports. The display isn’t just for showing power delivery on each port; it also displays the number of charge cycles and functions as a clock, alarm, timer, or stopwatch. The base model, with a 10,000 mAh capacity, is limited to 30W output, but the largest version (27,600 mAh) supports USB PD 3.1 – not 3.0 – and can deliver up to 140W over a single USB-C port. This increased power delivery is a key trend as newer laptops demand more efficient charging.
The WorkMate, available with 20,000 mAh and 25,000 mAh capacities, also offers up to 140W of power, but features a more utilitarian plastic body and a simpler display.
Beyond USB Power Delivery, all of the power banks support QuickCharge 3.0, as well as fast-charging technologies from Samsung and Huawei.
