Cultural initiatives promoting inclusion continue to gain momentum across Europe, with a recent spotlight on a project blending social impact and artistic expression in Alsace.
The Collectivité européenne d’Alsace hosted the presentation of “Cap vers l’inclusion” at its headquarters in Bischwiller on Friday, June 13, 2025. The event marked the culmination of a collaborative effort led by Anne-Karin Grassler, Ulis coordinator, and Audrey Fuhrmann, AESH, both recognized for their ongoing perform in educational accessibility and disability support.
The final outcome of the initiative was unveiled as a comprehensive directory of inclusion-focused actors, now hosted on the CEA’s official website. Designed as a resource for educators, families, and community organizations, the directory aims to strengthen networks and improve access to inclusive practices across the region.
According to organizers, the project emerged from a shared vision to make inclusion a collective responsibility, engaging stakeholders from schools, local associations, and public institutions. The presentation at the Hôtel d’Alsace served as both a showcase and a call to action, emphasizing the importance of sustained cooperation in advancing equity and representation.
While rooted in educational and social outreach, the initiative reflects broader cultural trends where entertainment, media, and public institutions increasingly intersect with advocacy efforts. By centering lived experiences and amplifying underrepresented voices, projects like “Cap vers l’inclusion” contribute to a more inclusive cultural landscape—one where storytelling and community engagement go hand in hand.
