Louis’s path to becoming an author was an unexpected one. “I come from a family of restaurateurs, then caterers organizing receptions,” he explains. “Raised in the world of gastronomy, I ran the family establishment at the foot of the Palais des Papes for ten years before leading a communication agency specializing in the food industry for over 30 years. While I’ve always used writing in my profession, writing books only began about ten years ago, quite by chance, and through a wonderful encounter.”

Louis has penned a four-part thriller series featuring Michel Arthur Chevalier, known as Mac – an unconventional investigator who previously served as a chef at Matignon and was a member of a secret anti-terrorist unit. Beyond the thrillers, he’s also authored three cookbooks and three novels exploring the complexities of human relationships, be they familial, friendly, or romantic. The combination of genres reflects a unique creative vision, a trend increasingly popular with readers seeking diverse storytelling.
