Big Brother Brasil fans will have a slightly different viewing schedule on Sunday, March 15th, as the formation of the ninth elimination round is moving to the afternoon. The change is being made to accommodate live coverage of the 2026 Academy Awards, a major event for international cinema.

The shift in scheduling is particularly notable as Brazil’s own film, O Agente Secreto (The Secret Agent), is nominated in several key categories, including Best Picture and Best Actor (Wagner Moura). The network aims to allow viewers to follow the awards ceremony in real-time as the results are announced.
When to Tune In for BBB 26 on March 15th
To make room for both events, Big Brother Brasil will air live at two different times:
- The Nomination Ceremony (1:50 PM): Tadeu Schmidt will host the live nomination process, including the Head of Household’s nomination and the results of any “veto” or “save” powers.
- Quick Update (7:20 PM): The show will briefly return in the early evening to provide a recap of the nomination results and the atmosphere inside the house before the Oscars commence.
