Director Midhun Manuel Thomas has clarified that actress Nikhila Vimal will not be featured in an item number in the upcoming film, ‘Aadu 3,’ addressing widespread rumors circulating on social media. The director confirmed that Vimal won’t even appear in the movie, despite reports suggesting otherwise.

Thomas addressed the speculation during an interview on Friday Film House’s YouTube channel, and had previously spoken about it at a press conference.
“There is no item dance by Nikhila Vimal. Nikhila isn’t even in the film. I don’t know how that news came about,” Thomas said. “This morning, when I opened my eyes, there were a lot of tags and shares. I didn’t understand anything.”
“I’m not going to respond to other controversies. There *is* a dance, but it’s not an item dance. There’s a dance according to the concept of ‘Aadu.’ It’s a kid-friendly, family film, so there is a dance, but it’s not Nikhila. It’s Vedika who will be performing. Vedika is a fine dancer,” Thomas added.
The director likewise confirmed that neither Mammootty nor Mohanlal will be involved in the film, either through appearances or voice-over narration.
