Mumbai – The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has recommended that Aditya Dhar’s production house, ‘B62 Studios,’ be placed on a permanent blacklist, preventing them from receiving permits for film shoots. The recommendation comes after repeated violations on the set of Dhar’s upcoming film, ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge.’
The production house has been fined 100,000 rupees for filming on a building’s terrace without permission and for using two generator vans without authorization. A security deposit of 25,000 rupees, posted by the production, has also been forfeited.

Authorities discovered that the production team violated police instructions during filming on February 7 and 8 in the Fort area of South Mumbai, specifically regarding the use of fireworks and potentially flammable materials. A warning was initially issued, but complaints arose of fireworks being used again during an early morning shoot the following day.

In a letter to the Zone 1 Deputy Municipal Commissioner, the BMC requested that applicants Komal Pokhriyal and Nashir Khan also be permanently barred from seeking filming permissions through the Maharashtra Film Corporation website. The action was prompted by the production house’s failure to adhere to safety standards while filming in areas of historical significance. The current shoot is for the sequel to the 2025 blockbuster, ‘Dhurandhar.’
