Boca Juniors are on the verge of signing Colombian winger Marino Hinestroza from Atlético Nacional, with final details reportedly being ironed out. The deal, which could be worth around $5 million, would see Hinestroza’s contract extend through 2029.

The 23-year-old has fueled speculation surrounding the move with a recent post on his Instagram account. Hinestroza shared a story featuring a sky filled with hearts in Boca Juniors’ colors, alongside an hourglass emoji, hinting at the impending transfer.

While a significant move for Atlético Nacional, the transfer fee wouldn’t rank among the club’s biggest sales. Miguel Borja’s move to Palmeiras for €12 million and Jhon Solís’s transfer to Granada for €6 million remain the two most lucrative departures in the Colombian club’s history, according to reports.

Hinestroza Targeted as Key Addition for Copa Libertadores

Boca Juniors manager Chelo Delgado recently stated, “We have seen videos of the player. He is an interesting player, fast and skillful. We are going to evaluate all the possibilities we have and hope to be able to count on most of the players.”
