Casio is preparing to launch two new models in its Beside Line series, the BLS-100DS-2AV and BLS-100DS-4AV, in select markets worldwide. The watches, listed on the company’s international website, are currently slated for release in January 2026.
The new Casio Beside Line watches are positioned as both elegant and sophisticated, making them suitable for formal occasions, professional settings, or everyday wear. Both versions feature a striking mother-of-pearl dial, with the BLS-100DS-2AV offering a blue tint and the BLS-100DS-4AV displaying a rosy hue.
Both the BLS-100DS-2AV and BLS-100DS-4AV models are housed in a silver-colored stainless steel case measuring 34.5 x 28.2 x 8.2 mm. They are paired with a matching solid stainless steel bracelet and utilize a unique three-fold push-type clasp. The dials are protected by scratch-resistant sapphire crystal.
These analog watches feature three hands for hours, minutes, and seconds, with an accuracy rate of approximately 20 seconds per month. They are also water-resistant to 50 meters and are expected to have a battery life of around three years using an SR626SW battery.
Specific release dates and pricing for the Casio Beside Line watches remain unconfirmed. However, consumers in the United States can currently purchase older Casio models featuring mother-of-pearl dials, such as the MTP1302DS-7AV (currently available on Amazon Marketplace for $79.00). The introduction of these new models demonstrates Casio’s continued focus on blending classic design with durable technology in the watch market.
