Chef Cătălin Scărlătescu is enjoying a romantic getaway in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, and has sparked speculation about a new relationship. The popular television personality, known for his role as a judge on PRO TV, shared photos from his vacation on Instagram, but one image in particular has fans buzzing.

Scărlătescu previously dated Doina Teodoru for three years, and the pair were even engaged at one point before ultimately calling it quits. The chef opened up about the split last year in a podcast interview.
“She received the ring. I gave it to her some time ago. Yes. Here in Bucharest, at a restaurant. We had just returned from Rome, and we were already arguing, that’s how it is with us. The argument starts, and then it’s an argument, you know? We’re both very, very assertive people. I want one thing, she wants something else, we’re totally different,” Scărlătescu explained on Cătălin Măruță’s podcast.
