This year’s observance was particularly notable for the presence of the Governor of Katsina State, who also holds the title of King of Kano, alongside Sheikh Mouhamadou Khouraichy Ibrahima Niass, representing the Khalife general, Sheikh Mouhamadou Mahi Ibrahima Niass, Khadimoul Oumma.
