Clovis Cornillac and Lilou Fogli stepped out together Monday, November 17th, to show their support for friends at the premiere of Éric Besnard’s new film, “Jean Valjean” at the Publicis cinema. While both are accomplished actors, neither Cornillac nor Fogli appear in the film itself, choosing instead to celebrate Isabelle Carré, Bernard Campan, and Alexandra Lamy.

The couple, married since August 2013, are parents to Nino, born four months before their wedding. Beyond their shared passion for film – they co-wrote “Un peu, beaucoup, aveuglément” in 2015 and “C’est magnifique!” in 2021 – Cornillac and Fogli also share a love for an active lifestyle, including pilates, skiing, and hiking. Fogli, 44, frequently shares glimpses of her professional and personal life, often featuring her husband, on her Instagram account.

A Longstanding Partnership: Bernard Campan and Isabelle Carré

“Jean Valjean” marks the fourth time Bernard Campan and Isabelle Carré have shared the screen. Their collaboration began in 2001 with “Se souvenir des belles choses,” the film where they first met and forged a lasting friendship. The pair reunited for “La dégustation” twenty years later, followed by “Et plus si affinités” in 2024, and now, “Jean Valjean.”

Despite portraying romantic couples onscreen, Campan and Carré have maintained a platonic relationship. During a September interview with Paris Match, Isabelle Carré playfully addressed the frequent rumors about their connection: “On nous le demande souvent [s’ils sont amoureux], et moi, ça me fait rire…” she said with a smile. The enduring on-screen chemistry of Campan and Carré continues to captivate audiences, solidifying their status as a beloved duo in French cinema.
