CNN Launches New Streaming Service, ‘All Access,’ for $6.99 Per Month

CNN today announced the launch of its new streaming service, CNN All Access, offering a combination of live programming, original content, and digital access for $6.99 monthly or $69.99 annually.

The All Access tier will provide subscribers with a “selection” of CNN’s live programming, alongside 1,000 hours of content from CNN’s Originals library, CNN Original Series, and CNN Films – available one day after their television premiere. It also includes on-demand video, special features, exclusive live events, and full access to articles and subscriber-only content on CNN.com. Notably, the service does not include a 24/7 live feed of the CNN television channel.

“No one covers the world like CNN,” said Alex MacCallum, VP of digital products. “This is an essential step in CNN’s evolution, providing a comprehensive experience that meets how audiences consume news today.” The launch follows the removal of CNN’s 24/7 live news stream from HBO Max, and a rebranding of its existing digital subscription to a “Basic” tier – offering access to CNN.com articles but excluding video content. This move is part of a broader trend of media companies restructuring their streaming offerings to compete in a crowded market, as reported by Reuters.

CNN is offering a promotional rate of $41.99 for the first year to those who sign up before January 5th, 2026. Existing pay TV subscribers will receive the streaming service for free, but will not have access to the digital content available to All Access subscribers. The service officially launches on October 28th.
