Corrections

Report a factual, sourcing, attribution, licence or media problem.

How to report an issue

Email office@headlinez.news with the page URL, the specific statement or media item at issue, and a reliable source that supports the correction. Please distinguish a factual error from a disagreement about emphasis or prediction.

What happens next

The report is checked against the coverage links and evidence record used for the brief. A confirmed material error may be corrected, clarified, relabelled, noindexed or withdrawn, depending on what the evidence supports. A source or embed that becomes unavailable may be removed without changing otherwise supported text.

Predictions and changing stories

A prediction that later proves wrong is graded as wrong and remains part of the public record; it is not silently rewritten as a correction. News can also change after publication. Later developments may appear as an update or epilogue, while the page retains its original publication time and exposes its latest update time.
