Editorial policy
The publication rules behind an automated news-trend system.
What headlinez.news publishes
headlinez.news measures patterns in public news coverage. A trend becomes eligible for a published brief only after at least four independent sources converge on the story, readable evidence can be retrieved, and the brief passes separate verification and quality checks. Raw detections, weak clusters and failed drafts may remain in the operational database but are not submitted through public discovery surfaces.
Authorship and AI assistance
The publisher and byline represent the headlinez.news editorial system. The site does not claim that a human reporter attended an event, interviewed a source or manually reviewed every brief. Automated drafting is constrained to a short-lived research packet built from accessible source pages. A second pass checks claims against that packet, and failed work stays unpublished. Each trend page displays its generation method, verification state, update time and coverage links.
Sources, quotations and uncertainty
Search results and social posts are discovery aids, not evidence on their own. Factual claims must be traceable to retrieved reporting or clearly identified source material. Quotations, numbers and named assertions must not be invented. When sources conflict or evidence is incomplete, the brief should state the uncertainty rather than manufacture resolution.
Images and embedded media
Images require recorded source, credit and licence information. Video and social embeds are optional and must match the story's entities and context. The original platform remains responsible for hosting embedded material. A missing verified match is left empty rather than filled with unrelated media.
Health and other sensitive coverage
Health-category pages describe news coverage and are not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment guidance. Readers should use the linked original sources and qualified clinicians for personal decisions, and local emergency services for emergencies. The system should separate reported findings from interpretation and retain uncertainty, study limitations and attribution when the source material provides them.
Advertising and corrections
Advertising code does not determine which trends qualify for publication or change the source and verification gates. Suspected factual, sourcing, attribution, licence or media errors can be reported through the corrections process. Material issues are reviewed against the stored coverage record and corrected or withdrawn when the evidence supports that action.
