Corsair showcased a range of new products and technologies at this year’s CES, including a novel integration of its Stream Deck functionality directly into a full-size keyboard. The new device, dubbed the Galleon 100, aims to streamline workflows for gamers and content creators, offering quick access to frequently used commands and actions.
During a tour of the Corsair booth at the event, Andrew Williams from Corsair demonstrated the Galleon 100, explaining that the “100” designation refers to its 100% full-size keyboard layout. The “SD” indicates the built-in Stream Deck capabilities, a feature increasingly popular for its ability to customize and automate tasks.
The integration allows users to map in-game actions or software commands to dedicated keys on the keyboard, eliminating the need for complex key combinations or mouse clicks. This type of hardware integration represents a growing trend in personalized gaming peripherals.
“The cool thing about having this Stream Deck integration, and you can actually use it in a game,” Williams explained. “So if you’ve played Expedition 33, for example, you know you have the prompts. You can actually just hit one of these [buttons], and it will go through the whole thing and do perfect damage for you every time. So you don’t have to sit there and click and hit your QTEs.”
Corsair’s demonstration at CES highlighted the potential for the Galleon 100 to simplify complex gameplay scenarios and improve reaction times. The company’s broader showcase at the event also included new AI tools, which will be detailed in a separate report.
