CS Constantine continued their impressive form with a 2-0 victory over ES Sétif on Friday, February 13, 2026, marking their third consecutive league win.

The win moves CS Constantine to within four points of league leaders Mouloudia d’Alger, though Mouloudia d’Alger still has four games in hand. Despite this gap, CS Constantine are solidifying their position in second place in the Ligue 1 table.

The club has enjoyed a productive spell since the start of 2026, following a strong transfer window. They’ve recorded five wins, one draw and only one defeat – a loss to Mouloudia d’Alger – under coach Lassad Dridi. Today’s victory came after already eliminating ES Sétif from the domestic cup in January.

Nassim L’Ghoul proved to be the match-winner, scoring both goals in the second half. The breakthrough arrived in the 70th minute when L’Ghoul collected a pass after a driving run from Chikhi and curled a shot into the near post. Just six minutes later, L’Ghoul doubled the lead, finishing a play started by a surging run and delivery from Lahemri.
