A potential transfer is brewing in Bulgaria’s first League, as CSKA Sofia has reportedly made a formal offer for Slavia Sofia midfielder Isak Sole, a key player for teh capital city club. The move could shake up the league’s competitive balance, notably with rival Levski Sofia also potentially interested in the 24-year-old Central African Republic international. Slavia Sofia’s president, Ventceslav Stefanov, has confirmed the offer from CSKA and stated the decision now rests with the player.
CSKA Sofia is reportedly on the verge of signing Slavia Sofia midfielder Isak Sole, a key player in the Bulgarian First League. Slavia president Ventceslav Stefanov revealed that the club has received a formal offer for the 24-year-old.
Stefanov emphasized that, as of now, no official approach has come from Levski Sofia regarding Sole. He added that if the Central African Republic international agrees to terms with CSKA, the transfer will proceed without issue.
“If Sole reaches an agreement, he can go to CSKA. It’s up to him,” Stefanov told Sportal. “So CSKA could potentially beat Levski to his signature. To be honest, no one from Levski has called or indicated any interest. Everything is just media speculation and rumors, but we haven’t received anything – not officially, nor unofficially – from ‘Gerena.’” He continued, “Don’t worry about finding a replacement for Sole at Slavia. We have plenty of talented young players. Our club has proven it knows how to develop its own talent, and we have an excellent professional leading the team. We’re in a good position.”
