CSKA Final Hopes Jeopardized as BFS Hands Down Heavy Sanctions

CSKA is bracing for a potential personnel crisis ahead of the Bulgarian Cup final, with five of the team’s leading players facing the possibility of missing the championship match.

The Bulgarian Football Union (BFS) has officially issued disciplinary punishments to both CSKA and Ludogorets, leaving the “Army Men” in a state of anxiety regarding their squad availability for the trophy clash.

The situation is particularly precarious for the club, as three CSKA players are currently threatened with two-match penalties. These sanctions could prove devastating, as the club fears being without five of its most influential stars in the final.

Adding to the club’s mounting concerns, reports indicate bad news for Hristo Yanev, further complicating CSKA’s tactical preparations for the high-stakes encounter.

The BFS disciplinary sweep extended beyond the cup contenders. Lokomotiv was hit with three separate fines following euphoria in Kardzhali, while player Kova has been handed a one-match suspension.
