CSKA Sofia has received a significant boost ahead of the second half of the season, confirming the registration of all six winter signings. The club is also reportedly targeting a central defender to further bolster their squad as they push for a strong finish in the Bulgarian First League.

The most pressing concern revolved around securing the necessary paperwork for players from outside the European Union. Leo Pereira (Brazil), Max Eboong (Belarus/Cameroon), and Alejandro Piedraita (Colombia) all fall into this category, and the club has moved swiftly to resolve the issue.

CSKA officials proactively engaged with the relevant authorities, avoiding the delays that have plagued similar situations in previous years, according to reports. The swift action ensures all players will be eligible for selection without interruption.

Player registration with the Bulgarian Football Union (BFS) is expected to be completed this week. The early and decisive work in the transfer window has streamlined the administrative process. Isak Sole, who also holds a French passport, further simplifies matters despite representing the Central African Republic internationally.

The club has freed up three non-EU player slots with the departures of Kevin Dodaj, who has returned to Albania on loan with Vlaznia Shkodra, Seiny Sanayang, who has joined Botev Vratsa on loan, and the termination of Brian Cordoba’s contract.
