Venezuelan actress Daniella Navarro is currently focusing on her recovery after what she described as “difficult days.”
Navarro, known for her roles in popular telenovelas like Marido en alquiler and Tierra de Reyes, shared the news with her nearly 1.5 million Instagram followers on Tuesday, expressing gratitude for their “prayers” and “affection.” While she didn’t disclose specific details about her health, she assured fans she would share more when she’s ready.
“Beautiful people, thank you for so much love, thank you for your prayers. They were difficult days but God does not abandon. When I’m ready to share, I will, for now I’m still recovering and all the glory is to God,” she wrote in an Instagram Story. The post was accompanied by a photo of her with her husband, Jorge Campillo, president of a Colombian private aviation company, whom she affectionately called her “medicine” for helping her recharge.
Navarro’s update comes after a recent return to acting following a nearly five-year hiatus. Last year, she joined the cast of Telemundo’s Velvet, el nuevo imperio, a role she described to People en Español as “a very big blessing.”
“Making what I’m truly passionate about and returning with a project and character like this is like a very big blessing. I am happy, grateful, excited, nervous, but definitely extremely happy,” she said at the time.
Velvet, el nuevo imperio concluded its run in September. The series is currently airing in Spain on Nova. Navarro has indicated she plans to share behind-the-scenes content from her time on the show once she’s fully recovered, acknowledging she’s felt she’s left her fans “abandoned” during her time away. Her return to the screen marked a significant moment for fans eager to see the actress back in a leading role, and her recent health update has prompted an outpouring of support from her dedicated fanbase.
