Artist Jānis Garančs will transform financial transaction data into a live, immersive audiovisual experience with a performance on Thursday, February 19th at the RIXC gallery in Riga. Using two stereoscopic 3D projections, Garančs will both visualize and sonify the data in real-time, creating an unpredictable and fluid display.
The installation is designed as a direct, real-time process where data streams are generated and transformed in the presence of the audience, resulting in a unique audiovisual experience. This innovative approach to art and technology is gaining traction as artists explore fresh ways to represent complex information.
The event is open to anyone interested in experiencing space as an immersive and dynamic environment and exploring the performativity of data and its manifestation in image and sound. Following the performance, there will be a discussion with the artist.

The performance is part of the confluxus [+][×] stūra portāli exhibition, which will be on display until March 14th at the RIXC gallery, Lenču iela 2. The gallery is open from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM from Wednesday to Saturday.
