Chinese automaker Deepal officially launched the S07 630 Long-Range Edition on December 12, 2025, expanding its mid-size SUV lineup with a new offering focused on extended range and advanced driver-assistance features. The new variant comes in two sub-models and integrates Huawei’s Qiankun ADS SE semi-autonomous driving system.

The S07 boasts interactive design elements, including pedestrian signal lights, driving status indicators, and animations that respond to driving conditions. Customers can choose from five exterior color options, with two-tone combinations available for a more premium aesthetic.
Measuring 4,750 mm in length, 1,930 mm in width, and 1,625 mm in height, the Deepal S07 features a 2,900 mm wheelbase. The rear design emphasizes a sporty look with a full-width taillight bar, a rear spoiler, and guide lights. Additional features include a noise-reducing double-layer front windshield and privacy glass on the rear doors.

Inside, the S07 features Zero-Gravity front seats that recline up to 120 degrees. A centerpiece of the interior is a 15.6-inch 2.5K touchscreen display, complemented by a 55-inch AR-HUD (Augmented Reality Head-Up Display) projecting information onto the windshield. All models utilize Qualcomm’s third-generation Digital architecture, powered by the Snapdragon 8295P processor. Rear passengers benefit from a 4.2-inch entertainment screen, iPad connectivity, a premium 20-speaker Dolby Atmos surround sound system, and ambient lighting.

The Long Range version of the S07 utilizes a single motor mounted on the rear axle, delivering a maximum output of 255 horsepower and 290 Nm of torque. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is achieved in 7.5 seconds. It’s powered by a 77.94 kWh battery pack, providing a maximum range of 630 km (CLTC standard). This extended range is a key feature as automakers strive to alleviate range anxiety among EV buyers.

The integrated Huawei Qiankun ADS SE driving assistance system offers a suite of intelligent features, including highway NCA (Navigation-Assisted Cruise Assist) with automatic lane changing, obstacle avoidance, speed and steering control, and Urban LCC Plus for city driving. It also includes lane change assist via the steering wheel, automatic stop-and-go at traffic lights, and Intelligent Parking Assist, supporting over 160 parking scenarios, including remote parking and memory parking.

The Deepal S07 serves as a flagship global model for Changan and is already available in several countries. The launch of the new Long Range variant, with its extended 630 km range, further strengthens its competitiveness in the global EV market, particularly within the rapidly growing mid-size SUV segment. The S07 is priced between 164,900 and 174,900 yuan (approximately $735,607 – $779,924 USD).
