Bandai Namco and Media.Vision are continuing to support their 2024 turn-based RPG,Digimon Story: Time Stranger,with a new downloadable content pack. Dubbed “Additional Digimon & Episode Pack 2: GAKU-RAN,” the expansion is slated for a January 2026 release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. The DLC will introduce new Digimon evolutions and story content, offering players additional depth and strategic options within the Digimon universe.

Bandai Namco and Media.Vision have announced a new downloadable content pack for Digimon Story: Time Stranger, titled “Additional Digimon & Episode Pack 2: GAKU-RAN.” The expansion is slated for release in January 2026 and will add new content to the latest turn-based RPG installment in the long-running Digimon franchise, currently available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.

The DLC introduces a new Bancho-themed Mega evolution path for Digimon, including BanchoLillymon, BanchoStingmon, BanchoGolemon, and BanchoMamemon. This expansion of Digivolution options is designed to provide players with increased strategic flexibility when building and developing their teams, allowing for new combat combinations.

Beyond the new Digimon, “Additional Digimon & Episode Pack 2: GAKU-RAN” will also feature a new episode focusing on the story of Hiroko Sagisaka, a key character in Digimon Story: Time Stranger. The additional content will expand on the narrative, delving deeper into the game’s world and its central themes of time manipulation.

Players who purchase the Deluxe Edition or Ultimate Edition of the game will receive immediate access to the DLC upon its release. The expansion will also be available for individual purchase or through the game’s Season Pass.
