The U.S. dollar finished Friday’s session little changed, as investors parsed conflicting signals regarding inflation and the trajectory of Federal Reserve policy. while recent economic data suggested easing price pressures, concerns about data quality and a lack of clear forward guidance from the Bank of Japan following its first interest rate hike in decades contributed to market hesitancy. The dollar-peso exchange rate remained stable at $912.1 on Bloomberg screens, despite briefly dipping to a near six-month low earlier in the day.
