Germany’s popular reality program “Ich bin ein Star – Holt mich hier raus!”-known internationally as “The Jungle Camp”-delivered an unexpected twist to its eleventh day of competition. Following the elimination of three contestants in as manny days, hosts Sonja Zietlow and Jan Köppen announced a temporary halt to evictions on february 2nd, leaving nine celebrities still vying for the title of Jungle King or Queen [[3]]. While the pause offers a reprieve for some, voting remains open with all tallies carrying over to the next broadcast and a potential €100,000 prize still at stake.

Surprise!
Three celebrities have already been eliminated from the jungle camp, but the show is hitting pause on evictions. On February 2nd, the eleventh day of the competition, no one will be sent home, leaving nine contestants still in the running.

First, Nicole Belstler-Boettcher had to leave her camp bed, followed by Umut Tekin, and then Mirja du Mont on day ten. And that’s where things stand on the eleventh day of the jungle camp, as Sonja Zietlow and Jan Köppen announced at the start of the live broadcast: “Today is a day of reprieve. No one has to leave the camp today!”

The news leaves fans wondering what will happen to the votes already cast. Anyone who has been diligently voting for their favorite camper doesn’t need to worry. Even though no celebrity will be eliminated on day eleven, no votes will be lost. The phone lines remain open, and all votes have been and will continue to be counted. All votes will be tallied and count towards the next show on February 3rd, and all voting participants still have a chance to win €100,000.

However, not all of the contestants can fully relax just yet. At the end of the broadcast, Jan Köppen and Sonja Zietlow revealed the current standings of the viewer votes – and the results put Patrick Romer and Stephen Dürr on the bottom. They have received the fewest votes from viewers so far. The reality competition, popular in Germany, continues to draw attention for its dramatic eliminations and unpredictable twists.
