A local organization dedicated to cancer support received a significant boost earlier this year thanks to community fundraising efforts. On January 21, Jean-Marie Lafosse presented a check for €1,500 (approximately $1,625 USD) to Action Cancer 47, funds raised during the “Octobre Rose Hautefage-Cassignas” event held on October 19.

The event, a collaboration between the Hautefage-Cassignas and Hautefage-la-Tour municipalities and the local committee of fêtes, featured a hike, a meal, and a pétanque tournament, drawing substantial participation in support of breast cancer awareness and research.
