Beşiktaş forward El Bilal Toure will be sidelined for three to four weeks after suffering an injury during Sunday’s match against Başakşehir.
Beşiktaş released a statement detailing the extent of the injury.
The club confirmed that an MRI revealed a bleed and tear in the tendon of Toure’s left hamstring. The injury occurred in the 34th minute of the Trendyol Süper Lig contest, forcing the young striker off the pitch.
Medical staff have already begun treatment for the 24-year-old, who has been a key contributor to Beşiktaş’s attack this season, registering 6 goals and 5 assists in 18 appearances. The setback is a blow to the team as they continue their push in the Turkish league.
