The incident, which unfolded while waiting for her daughters at an after-school activity in a Warsaw suburb on Tuesday, prompted Trybała to contact authorities and sparked a wider conversation about bystander intervention. Her emotional plea, posted to her 1.7 million Instagram followers, highlights the crucial role witnesses play in protecting vulnerable children and challenges the silence surrounding such events.

After leaving the show, Trybała and her husband started a family, welcoming daughters Victoria in 2014 and Kornelia two years later. The girls frequently appear with their parents on social media and at public events. Recently, Trybała had sparked conversation after revealing she provides her daughters with a monthly allowance of 1,000 złoty (approximately $250 USD), a topic she later clarified.
On Tuesday, Trybała took to Instagram to detail a shocking experience she witnessed while waiting to pick up her daughters from an extracurricular activity. She described observing a parent allegedly “threatening and shaking” a young boy who was pleading not to be left at the event.
“My hands are shaking as I write this… Today, while waiting for my children at their after-school activities, I witnessed something I can’t get out of my head. This wasn’t a ‘family moment.’ It was a situation that broke my heart,” Trybała began in her post.
“I saw a boy begging, crying, and screaming that he didn’t want to go to the activity. It was panic, not just whining. Instead of a conversation, there were threats, everything being taken away, shouting, and then shaking and forcibly pulling him. The child was begging not to be left. I stood up and ran over. I said I wouldn’t let this happen. I reported it to the appropriate authorities,” she stated.
Trybała concluded her post with a plea to her followers, urging them to speak up and intervene if they ever witness similar situations.
“But you know what was the worst? – she added. There were many adults standing around. Everyone heard the screaming. Almost no one reacted. Complete silence. People looking away. I’m writing this because the indifference hurt me the most. That people can stand by and pretend nothing is happening when a child is being harmed! I can’t change the world with this. Parents are different. But I beg you – react! One word, one step, one intervention can mean everything to someone. Don’t look away, don’t pretend you don’t see it… don’t be indifferent,” she finished.
