Several Emirates aircraft departed from Dubai International Airport on Tuesday morning, according to Flightradar 24. The move comes as regional airspace disruptions continue following recent exchanges between Iran and Israel, impacting international air travel.

Five Airbus A380s, capable of carrying up to 615 passengers in certain configurations, took off Tuesday morning bound for destinations including Jeddah, Manchester, Paris, London, and Frankfurt.

The flights followed initial departures from Dubai and Abu Dhabi on Monday, after the United States and Israel’s attack on Iran – and Iran’s subsequent retaliatory attacks in the region – prompted airspace closures and widespread flight disruptions.

Emirates is advising passengers not to travel to the airport unless they have received notification of a rescheduled flight. The airline is working to manage the impact of the airspace closures on its operations.

Qatar Airways, a major carrier with Doha as its hub, announced on X that airspace over Qatar remains closed, with an update expected on Wednesday. The continued closure highlights the ongoing volatility affecting air routes in the Middle East.
