Motorola is expanding its mid-range smartphone offerings with the global release of the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion on Monday, March 2, 2026. The latest device aims to deliver enhanced features to consumers seeking a balance between performance and affordability.

Compared to the Edge 70 and the previous generation Edge 60 Fusion, the new model boasts both a larger screen and a more substantial battery.

The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion is available with a massive 7,000 mAh battery, supported by 68-watt speedy charging. A 5,200 mAh battery option with the same fast-charging capability is also offered.

Despite the increased battery capacity, Motorola claims the Edge 70 Fusion remains remarkably slim. The 5,200 mAh version measures 7.2 mm thick (weighing 177 grams), whereas the 7,000 mAh model is 8 mm thick (193 grams). This is thinner than the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion, which had a thickness of 8 mm and weighed 177 grams with its 5,200 mAh battery.

The screen also boasts a smooth 144 Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 5,200 nits. The display utilizes a Quad-Curved design, meaning it curves on all four sides, offering a more immersive viewing experience.

Under the hood, the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion is powered by a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, paired with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. This combination aims to provide a responsive and efficient user experience.

The device features a dual rear camera system with Pantone Validated color certification. The primary camera utilizes a Sony Lytia 710 sensor with a resolution of 50 MP (1.0-micron pixel size) and optical image stabilization (OIS). It is accompanied by a 13 MP ultra-wide lens with a 120-degree field of view, also supporting macro photography.

For selfies, a 32 MP front-facing camera is housed within a punch-hole cutout at the top center of the display.

Additional features include IP68/IP69 water and dust resistance certification, and compliance with the US MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability standard. The phone is available in Pantone Blue Surf, Pantone Silhouette, and Pantone Country Air colors, featuring a textured back finish.

In Europe, the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion is priced at 420 euros (approximately $8.2 million) for the 5,200 mAh battery variant and 440 euros (around $8.6 million) for the 7,000 mAh version, as reported by KompasTekno from GSMArena. The pricing reflects the higher costs associated with the European market, such as taxes.

It is currently unknown whether the phone will be released in Indonesia, but if it is, the price is expected to be lower than the European price due to lower taxes and other costs.
