A former television personality’s ex-husband has spoken of the “irony of fate” surrounding her recent death in Grasse, France. She passed away on Sunday, a location deeply connected to her public image and the glamour of the French Riviera, much like Brigitte Bardot.

Despite their separation, the former couple had rekindled their connection in recent years. “Despite the time that passed, our bond always remained intact, and we had really grown closer over the last three or four years,” the radio host shared. “We saw each other practically every year. She came to my home, she met my new partner, and everything was going very well.”

He recalled a particularly poignant moment last year, organized by his daughter. “Last year, my daughter decided to bring us together. There were twelve of us, and we took a cruise to celebrate, among other things, her 74th birthday. It was a beautiful moment.” He continued, emotionally, “After that, the illness progressed rapidly, and everything happened very quickly.”
