Seventeen-year-old Fabian Weiss of Thailand delivered a strong performance at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan-Cortina, Italy, finishing 60th overall in the Men’s Giant Slalom. Weiss completed both runs in a combined time of 2:50.81, placing seventh among Asian competitors. The gold medal in the event was claimed by Lucas Pinheiro Braaten of Brazil, who finished 25.81 seconds ahead of Weiss’s total time.
Dr. Piyawas Amaranand, head of the Thai delegation, and officials from the Ski Association of Thailand were on hand at the Bormio competition venue to support Weiss during Sunday’s event.
Weiss is scheduled to compete in the Men’s Slalom on February 16th at 4:00 PM Thailand time.
