Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram has responded to claims that her music video “Sidi Ya Sidi” contains hidden references to Freemasonry, firmly denying the allegations.
Addressing the Rumors
Ajram addressed the accusations during an interview on the program ET بالعربي, explaining that she frequently encounters rumors but generally chooses to ignore them. Though, she noted she will respond when the claims become excessive or directly impact her.
A Dedicated Team Monitors Coverage
The artist stated that she doesn’t personally track all media coverage surrounding her. Instead, a specialized team monitors publications and advises on whether a response is necessary, or if legal action against those spreading false information should be considered.
Statement Denies Concert Attendance
Ajram’s media office also released a statement refuting reports that she attended a private concert with several celebrities. The statement emphasized that any connection between the singer and such events or groups is unfounded. This comes as celebrities increasingly face scrutiny regarding their public appearances and affiliations.
Legal Action Possible
The statement further indicated that the circulating claims are deliberate attempts to damage Ajram’s reputation, and her office is prepared to pursue legal action against those responsible for spreading the rumors.

وأوضحت الفنانة خلال لقائها ببرنامج ET بالعربي أنها تتعرض كثيرًا للشائعات، لكنها تفضل تجاهلها في معظم الأحيان، ولا ترد إلا عندما تتجاوز حدودها أو تمسها بشكل مباشر.
فريق يتابع بدلًا عنها
أشارت نانسي إلى أنها لا تتابع بنفسها كل ما يُنشر عنها، حيث يتولى فريقها المختص رصد ما يُكتب، وفي حال الضرورة يتم اتخاذ قرار بالرد أو ملاحقة مروجي الشائعات قانونيًا.
بيان ينفي شائعة الحفل
ومن جانبه، أصدر المكتب الإعلامي للفنانة بيانًا نفى فيه صحة ما تردد حول حضورها حفلًا خاصًا برفقة عدد من المشاهير، مؤكدًا أن ربط اسمها بأي جهات أو ملفات لا يستند إلى أي وقائع حقيقية.
تحرك قانوني مرتقب
وأشار البيان إلى أن ما ينشر يندرج ضمن محاولات متعمدة للإساءة إلى سمعة الفنانة، مؤكدًا أن المكتب سيتخذ الإجراءات القانونية اللازمة ضد مروجي هذه الشائعات.
