Florida Basketball Fans Can Now Own Piece of Championship Court

University of Florida basketball fans now have the opportunity to purchase a piece of the court where the Gators won their third national championship in April, thanks to a unique initiative by the team’s NIL partner, Florida Victorious.

The championship victory, secured on April 7 in San Antonio against Houston, ended an 18-year drought since the Gators’ back-to-back titles in 2006 and 2007. Walter Clayton Jr. led the Gators in scoring during the championship game. This offering marks the first time a national championship court has been made available to a team’s fan base.

“This isn’t just wood and paint — it’s the very floor where the Gators made history, where the Gators cut down the nets, and where a new chapter of Florida basketball pride was written,” said Erick Reasoner, CEO of Florida Victorious. The initiative allows supporters to directly contribute to the financial well-being of current student-athletes through raffle entries and direct sales, bolstering the university’s men’s basketball program. UF junior forward Thomas Haugh added, “They’re giving Gator fans the opportunity to own a real piece of our championship court — a piece of history — while directly supporting the student-athletes who made those memories possible.”

Florida Victorious has partnered with Artsman and Goldin to feature the court pieces in an Elite Auction spotlight in December, ensuring broad access for interested fans. All proceeds from the sales will benefit Florida Victorious and its athletes, furthering the impact of Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) opportunities for collegiate athletes, as detailed by the NCAA.

More information about the championship court offering can be found on the Florida Victorious website, and officials anticipate a high level of interest from the Gator Nation.
