Owners of the Switch 2 are getting a first look at the console’s graphical capabilities with the release of a new racing title. Other platforms will have to wait.

Gear.Club Unlimited 3 debuted on the Switch 2 today, February 19, 2026. The game is slated to arrive on PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S later this year, though a specific release date for those platforms has not yet been announced.

The game’s graphics are considered impressive given the Switch 2’s hardware limitations. But, the title has received a mixed reception so far, currently holding an average score of 6.5/10 on OpenCritic.

Gear.Club Unlimited 3 is the latest racing game – following titles like JDM, Tokyo Extreme Racer, and the upcoming Forza Horizon 6 – to feature Japan as a key location. The roads of Japan will be the primary setting for the game’s racing action.

Fans of arcade racing will also want to note that Tokyo Xtreme Racer launches on PS5 on February 25th. More details on that production can be found here.
