YouTubers Gio Latooy and Lynn Hermanussen Remain Stranded in Oman
Popular vloggers Gio Latooy and Lynn Hermanussen are still stuck in Oman after their flight to Istanbul was canceled, amid ongoing unrest in the Middle East. The pair initially planned to travel on Saturday, March 6, 2026, but were informed of the cancellation upon waking up that morning.
“We were supposed to fly to Istanbul today, but woke up this morning to the news that our flight was canceled again, as things have been happening in the region again this morning,” Hermanussen shared on her Instagram story, according to RTL Boulevard.
The next available flight offered to the couple isn’t until March 15, 2026. This news comes as a KLM flight carrying stranded travelers from the Middle East landed at Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport on Saturday morning, and another repatriation flight operated by Corendon is scheduled to depart Oman later in the day. It remains unclear how many people will be returning to the Netherlands on the Corendon flight.
The situation highlights the challenges travelers are facing in the region due to current events. Latooy and Hermanussen’s predicament has garnered attention online, as fans and followers await updates on their situation.
This isn’t the first time the couple has faced travel disruptions recently. They previously had to seek shelter in Dubai following rocket attacks, describing the experience as “bizarre.”
