The 83rd Golden Globe Awards saw a few expected wins and a celebration of the year’s best in film and television.
The 83rd annual Golden Globe Awards took place Sunday at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California.
Top honors went to Hamnet, named Best Motion Picture – Drama, and One Battle After Another, which arrived as a frontrunner with nine nominations and took home the award for Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy.
Sentimental Value, from Joachim Trier, secured only one win out of its eight nominations: Best Supporting Actor for Stellan Skarsgård.
The award for Best Non-English Language Film went to the Brazilian film O Agente Secreto (“The Secret Agent”), with its star, Wagner Moura, also taking home the award for Best Actor.
On the television side, Adolescence was the night’s biggest winner.
