Beginning December 25th, fans were able to vote online for the songs they wanted to hear included in a celebratory medley marking Fischer’s 20th anniversary. The final selection will include everything from early hits like “Und morgen früh küss ich dich wach” to her massive breakthrough single “Atemlos durch die Nacht,” and more recent tracks like “Null auf 100.” This performance marks a full-circle moment for the artist, who first took the stage with Silbereisen in 2005, but debuted her own song at the “Winterfest” in Magdeburg on February 4th, 2006 – the launchpad for her incredible career.
The upcoming show isn’t just a milestone for Fischer; it’s also a reunion with Silbereisen, with whom she shares a significant professional history. “I can still remember how it all began! We were both very young,” Silbereisen told BILD. “It’s incredible that so much time has passed and we’re already celebrating Helene’s 20th anniversary at ‘Schlagerchampions.’” The performance, taking place at the Tempodrom in Berlin, will be Fischer’s first in front of a large audience since taking time off to start a family.
