The company’s CEO, Jean-François Baril, recently highlighted the HMD 102 in a LinkedIn post, noting it as the only one of three models – the HMD 100, HMD 101, and HMD 102 – to include a rear-facing camera.
Baril also stated that the HMD 102 supports MP3 playback, implying the inclusion of at least a 3.5mm headphone jack. All three phones appear to utilize Micro USB ports for connectivity. This reliance on older connection standards suggests that HMD Global is unlikely to market the HMD 100, HMD 101, or HMD 102 in regions with stricter regulations, such as the European Union.
